However, I'm not optimistic about flash marriages. It's said that the rate of flash marriages and divorces is as high as 65%. The sweetness brought by flash marriages doesn't last long, leaving only the word "unreliable."
Why are whirlwind marriages unreliable? Let's talk about some of the catalysts that lead to whirlwind divorces.
1. Having passion alone is not enough to make a lifetime fulfilling.
Couples who rush into marriage often admire each other after a passionate night and believe they are meant to be together. However, this is merely a case of passion clouding their judgment, a wishful thinking masked by infatuation. Maintaining a marriage requires more than just passion; it also demands responsibility. Ignoring this will only accelerate the risk of divorce.
2. Artificially ripened fruit is prone to rotting.
How much true love is involved in a whirlwind marriage? The bonds of family, friendship, and love in this world often need to withstand the test of time to yield the most genuine affection. A whirlwind marriage is like artificially ripened fruit; it may taste sweet for a short time, but the resulting fruit is difficult to withstand the ravages of time, has a short shelf life, and rots quickly.
3. Only by knowing the root cause can one last long.
How deeply can you understand each other in such a short time? During the honeymoon phase, you often only see your partner's good points and fail to understand everything about them, such as their marital history, true personality, and family. After a whirlwind marriage, all of this gradually comes to light, and any spark can easily ignite the marriage and destroy trust.
