Beautiful women tend to have moderate body fat and lower blood cortisol levels, which contributes to their higher fertility. However, female beauty does not necessarily boost immunity. Previous research has confirmed a positive correlation between attractiveness and immunity in men. Handsome men generally have stronger immune systems and are less likely to catch colds. This is primarily because handsome men tend to have higher levels of testosterone, a hormone that helps boost immunity.
Researchers say that appearance and health are closely linked; beautiful people are healthier, and to some extent, healthier people may also be more attractive.
