In traditional Chinese belief, a virgin should have a hymen. Men also have a strong virginity complex, so despite today's more open society, people still place great importance on this hymen. However, what most people don't know is that not every virgin has a hymen. Therefore, if you don't have a hymen, without proper communication, you and your partner cannot have fulfilling sex. Perfect sex is based on mutual communication and understanding. So, if you encounter this situation, communicate with your partner promptly to understand each other and avoid misunderstandings.

Below, we will share some basic knowledge about the hymen through three points.

1. She had already formed four months before birth.

First, let's learn more about the hymen. Although many women know about the hymen, they don't really understand it. During the embryonic stage, the reproductive organs gradually mature, eventually determining the baby's sex. Around the 10th week of gestation, if the DNA indicates a male fetus, the penis and testicles will gradually form. If it's a female fetus, the reproductive organs will develop into the vagina.

2. Not all vaginas have a hymen.

If this is your first time, many women typically assume that bleeding will occur when the hymen ruptures. However, if you didn't bleed after your first time, it might be because you accidentally broke your hymen—this thin membrane usually attaches to the opening of the vagina—which can be damaged by exercise or tampons—and some people are even born without a hymen. Conversely, some women have a thick hymen and have to undergo surgery to remove it—only then can they have sexual intercourse or use tampons.

3. "She" is only part of the reproductive organs.

Many women have a misconception about reproductive organs, with many viewing the vagina as the entirety of the reproductive system. This is incorrect. Although the clitoris, vulva, and urethra are only about an inch apart, they are still distinct components of the reproductive system. So, how should a woman's vagina be defined? The vagina is a moist, muscular canal that begins at the vulva and extends approximately three inches towards the pelvis, ending at the cervix (the opening of the uterus). The vagina is responsible for sexual intercourse, is where menstruation occurs monthly, and is also the exit point for our future babies.
