Overview
Last month, after intercourse during my ovulation period, I experienced light vaginal bleeding for several days. The blood was dark brownish in color. I was 30 days pregnant when I had intercourse with my husband again, and the bleeding lasted for two days. I had no other abdominal pain symptoms. A hospital examination revealed an ectopic pregnancy. After conservative treatment, I have now fully recovered. I'd like to share my experience with everyone.
Steps/Methods:
Conservative treatment for ectopic pregnancy primarily relies on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). TCM is highly effective for various types of ectopic pregnancy, including those with blood stasis, chronic ectopic pregnancy, mass-type ectopic pregnancy, shock-type or unstable early ectopic pregnancy, and unstable ectopic pregnancy. This method can spare some patients the pain of surgery, preserve the affected fallopian tube, and increase the chances of future pregnancy. It is the preferred treatment method for early ectopic pregnancy.
2. For ectopic pregnancies where the fallopian tube is intact or the rupture is small, laparoscopic surgery can be used to cut open the fallopian tube, remove the embryo, and then suture it to preserve the function of the fallopian tube. This is a commonly used surgical treatment method for ectopic pregnancies today.
3. Pay attention to hygiene, eat more light and high-protein foods.
