2. Perception of friends of the opposite sex

It seems to be a common perception that a woman having many male confidants is better than a man having many female confidants. Relationships between men and women are often subject to suspicion.

3. The impact of age on love

When women reach a certain age, they and those around them expect them to settle down, and the way to achieve this is by starting a family. However, society applies a different standard to men; men who are still single in their forties do not feel any more pressure than women.

4. Emotional experiences

If a man has a rich romantic history, he usually won't be criticized. But if this happens to a woman, she will be seen as having a casual attitude towards relationships.
