According to a report on the website of Russia's Komsomolskaya Pravda on October 9, a Russian obstetrician published a blog post titled "Interesting Gynecology," which is very professional and useful. With permission, we have excerpted an excerpt:

You might not have planned to have children yet, and you might not be ready to become parents, but then the baby arrives. So what preparations should you make?

1. Physiological Standards

It's best to conceive during your reproductive years. For women, pregnancy can even occur before their first menstrual period because ovulation can happen. Of course, it's possible to conceive after age 40, and even after age 45.

2. Physical condition, including physiological and psychological factors. The following conditions indicate that you are not currently suitable for pregnancy:

(1) If you haven’t been to a gynecologist for about 5 years and haven’t had any preventative check-ups;

(2) When you recently saw a doctor, the doctor shook his head, wrote a treatment plan, and told you to come back for a check-up in a few months, but you did not come. You did not finish the medicine and were still hoping to recover naturally.

(3) Irregular menstruation, delayed menstruation, sometimes sudden bleeding, and sudden pain.

(4) If you haven’t decided who will be the father of your child yet, let them compete for it, and remember to use condoms.

3. Understand what parenting is, rather than simply wanting to be a mother.

The important thing is:

1. If you know you have a chronic condition (not necessarily related to gynecology), consult a doctor and seek treatment if necessary.

2. See a dentist before you get pregnant.

3. Renovate the house before getting pregnant.

4. Check your pet's vaccination history and other planned activities. Don't get a spayed/neutered cat.

5. Do not change jobs while planning to get pregnant.

6. If you are facing miscarriage or premature birth, be sure to see a doctor and try to find out the cause of the problem before your next pregnancy.
